Matt Arciniega is a Senior Analyst at Impact for Education. He is a graduate of Columbia University and has done research and strategy work for multiple education advocacy and non-profit organizations including Democrats for Education Reform, 50CAN, KIPP Foundation and New Sector Alliance. Matt is a founding member of Caliber Schools, a charter management organization in his hometown, Richmond, CA, where he led extensive community organizing efforts that resulted in the approval of one of the district's first high-performing charter schools. Most recently, he has worked on issues in the Spanish public education system as a U.S. Fulbright Program grantee and is currently studying education, immigration, and community development issues in Mexico.
